An extra day of instruction for students to explore important concepts and receive individualized academic help with the support of a teacher. Acceleration Days are designed like a regular school day, with students receiving academic and social-emotional support. All students will receive engaging enrichment activities and personalized academic lessons at a Los Angeles Unified school, with healthy meals and after-school programs available to all. Teachers and school support staff will meet with students one-on-one or in small group settings to identify areas of improvement to provide them with the appropriate support to ensure they reach their highest potential.
